Functional Movement Screen Certification (FMS)
Having been a "gym rat" since I was 25, I was always interested in becoming a personal trainer and in 2011 I was finally in a position to get certified! Starting with NASM national certification as well as a SafeStrength Trainer certification with the Alive! Fitness Studio (specializing in high-intensity slow motion training), I have continued to learn and grow with other certifications and continuing education such as Senior Fitness Specialist and Original Strength Coach, among others. I was thrilled to join the Healstrength team in January 2017 as I loved Tae's innovative approach of providing functional training as well as soft tissue therapy to promote strength and mobility while overcoming the pain and limitations from muscle imbalances and injuries! Our collective goal is to provide optimal health to our clients in a safe, fun environment and we love our clients!
"I had issues with my shoulder, knee, and ankle for years and Lori Krause was heaven sent! She definitely mitigated all my issues with soft tissue therapy, release, and strength exercises; Lori is also certified for a novel workout method called "Original Strength" which opened my eyes to a new workout regiment that I have just recently incorporated. Don't think twice and set your appointment for wellness with Lori today!"
"I have been working out with Lori at HealStrength for over a year. What I appreciate most is that attention is given to maintaining proper form. If proper form is not maintained, the exercise will be modified so that success will be achieved without injury. Working out under Lori's supervision has been enjoyable and led to increased strength and mobility. Lori is very knowledgeable in the anatomy and trained in soft tissue therapy. This certainly is an additional skill that has helped release tightness and enable the body to respond and be successful. I look forward to continuing working out with Lori far into the future."
